Hi Princess.... I am so happy your not in pain anymore because you don't deserve that... You deserve to be exactly where you are--HEAVEN!!!! I love you Bandit and will miss you forever.... To the entire Caputo Family,

   Keep your heads up, as Bandit is smiling down on you for the 12 great years you have shared together. Bandit was such a loving caring dog, and I know I will miss her too.. who will greet me when i walk in the house? And to Bandit, you will always remain in my heart, as well as all of those you have known.

Rainbow Bridge

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Bandit was a special dog to my brother and his family.  Tonys adoration for the dog reminds me of a special Twilight Zone episode: 

A man and his dog die in some sort of accident, and soon they meet up with Saint Peter.  St. Peter tells the man that no dogs are allowed in heaven, but that the man can come in alone.  The man looks down at his devoted dog, and the dog stares back at his loving owner. 

Tears fill his eyes at the thought of leaving his dog behind.  Finally, the owner looks at St. Peter and says, If the dog cant come with me, than this place is no heaven. He turns and walks away, only to find the real St. Peter, who tells him that the other man was the devil.  St. Peter says, Tony, your wonderful dog is welcome here in Heaven.
