Rainbow Bridge

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

bear and ida its been 12 days since ida pasted and 8 days for bear. i am so lost without you both. the pain in my chest will not go away. i am happy you are both together but i'm so mad your not here with me and the kids. i miss you both so much. i cant stop thinking about you. i keep looking for you, sometimes i think i here the both of you barking. It is suppose to snow this weekend. you both loved the snow , ida loved putting her nose in it and bear loved when i throw snowballs. i am going to miss playing in the snow with you guys. when it does snow i will make a snow angle for you both. well thats it for now i will talk to you tomarrow i love you MOMMY

bear and ida i am missing you both more and more each day. i thought this would get easier as time goes on but its not. my heart still hurts. i am having a hard time understanding why you both got taken away from me. in just 3 days 3 days thats not fair i wasnt ready for this. im only 32 i should be able to handle this . but i cant its to much for me i try to do things to keep me from thinking about you but nothing is working . you both are on my mind all day everyday. i hope you both know how much i loved you. love always MOMMY Ps always remember the song i sang to you Who does mommy love so much Ida is here name since she came into my life it hasnt been the same who does mommy love so much bear is his name since he came into my life it hasnt been the same i love u

bear and ida 12/13/2007 well it is 6:00 am i woke up because i had a dream of both of you. it started as a good dream and ended bad ,it felt so real. we were together playing and running around the pool like always the kids were swimming , ida you jumped in to get alexis. i had to jump in to help you get out it was funny we were having so much fun it was like old times the bad part is i woke up and relized you were'nt here with me. i miss you guys so much. i keep looking for the both of you and your not here. i love you both so much. Thank you for all the great years we had together. love mommy

bear and ida hello my babies just wanted to stop by and say hi and i miss you both so much. its still hard to believe you are not here . today i am going christmas shopping. i need to get out of the house for a little while. sitting here everyday is no helping me. it is depressing i have no christmas spirit. I am going to be putting the tree up Saturday Alexis wants it up , i will be putting your stockings up ,i dont know how that is going to be, im guessing alot of tears. but anyway i guess i will go for now. i love and miss you Love MOMMY

You have made a beautiful tribute to your babies!  I feel your pain and know exactly how you feel.  Donovan passed away almost 3 months ago now and I am still grieving, crying and missing him terribly!  I have asked God many times why he took Donovan away from us, but there are no answers or sense to it.  He was a healthy, happy 7 year old dog who became ill and died, no matter what we or the vets did!  I know you feel that your heart has been ripped out!  When I read your words, I actually feel the pain and emotions in them.  Our babies gave us the purest, most unconditional love and friendship we will ever know!!  I know that my life will never be the same without Donovan.  I am just trying to live each day and adjust the best I can.  My thoughts are with you.

bear and ida hi guys just wanted to stop by and say i love you and miss you. Daddy said he had a dream last night about you. well doesnt know if it was a dream. he said he thought you both were laying on the floor in our room. when he went to pet you it was a laundry basket. i guess it was his mind playing tricks on him. i think its because we all miss you both so much. now that i think about it i was laying in alexis bed around 700 am watching tv and she started crying in her sleep. maybe she was also thinking about you. she is only 8 she really doesnt understand why you both had to leave us so soon. i keep telling her you are both together and you are now her angles. the photo i put in the gallery of her and ida was taken when we first found out ida was sick. alexis was so upset you can see it in the photo. but then ida seemed to be getting better.alexis was so happy. and then 2 weeks later ida pasted. poor alexis she was crushed. i am just glad i took that picture. well i guess i will talk to both later i love you MOMMY
