Chelsea

Chelsea came to us from a shelter, in April 1996.  Half German Shepherd and half Akita, she had the best of both breeds.

A companion to our family, and her pack members, Jackson, Ginger, and Sable, she loved babies, puppies, cats, and had a wonderful smile! Always happy to greet anyone who came, she was quite social.

In January 2008, at the age of 12 1/2, it was discovered that she had Lymphoma.
Treating her holistically, she held her own, and was happy and active until April 17, 2008, when she developed a small nose bleed. At the clinic, it was discovered that the cancer had spread into her nasal area, and that this was a battle we wouldn't win.
Holding her, and loving her till the last breath, we helped ease her into the next life.

Chelsea will live forever in our hearts, and in our memories.  The smile with which she greeted everyone, will never be forgotten.
