On Saturday 19th January - I got a phone call from a neighbour to say my cat (Gary) had been runover. This news just devestated me because Gary had only been 'playing' up the road and now has gone forever.
Gary was one in a million - he had a great nature and temprement. For hours he spent lying with me either on the bed or on my lap while I use the computer.
The best way to explain the way Gary was - was - he was a cool guy. He was funny and caring and knew when you needed him. He was very fluffy and it looked like he was wearing fluffy pants. My daughters called him Gary fluffy bum - I think he liked it.
I have never really wanted another cat as my other cat is still around and has just turned 21years. But I was leaving to go interstate with my daughters and a neighbour had these kittens which I could see my daughters getting very attached to them. I was too. So off he went to a new place and new people. My mother had bought him over in the plane.
I am writing this today as I am very overwhelmed with greif and I really dont know how to express it. But I really want to say - I love you Gary and I miss you heaps - you really were a nutter!!!. The ducks send their love and you will be missed at the next tea party. Astrid will miss the hot dinners and Mistee ..... well Mistee just hissed!! just ignore her.
Well Gary I will end there as I really cant see the puter for crying. But I hope we meet again and this time I will let you bite my toes in the middle of the night!!
I will never forget you - you rock
Love Sarah

Sometimes due to veterinarian bills or financial hardship, pet owners suffering from pet loss are unable or unwilling to pay for pet memorials.
It is very difficult for us at Immortal Pets to delete memorials especially one such as this. We try to sponsor some of them temporarily while funds allow until the pet owner is able to contribute to the pet memorial or in some cases kind hearted pet owners make donations to help us keep pet memorials online.
We would also like to use this space to encourage pet lovers to continue to support your local ASPCA. By reading these pet memorials you will find a great many of these wonderful animals were adopted from the ASPCA or other shelters. Please help us continue to support the animal shelters.
