In the picture you will see both our pets. We lost both of them one month apart.
When my son was five years old he was given a kitten.
She was beautiful and as spunky as he was. They played together,
slept together and she became his best friend. My son (brandon)
had no brothers or sisters so Jasmine sort of fill that empty
spot. Jasmine became the perfect house cat. She never
went outside since she had been spayed and declawed. She new she
was our other baby. She new my son (Brandon) was her
human. Jasmine became very close to us and she gave us the
most delightful fourteen years we could every imagine.
We hung on to her as long as we could. We protected her with
ever thing we had. She never had to worry about food, shelter, or
having someone to love her. On August 14, 2007 We took her
to the vet hospital. I could see in her eyes she was asking us to
please ease her pain. The vet told us due to her age her kidneys
were shutting down. We were crushed. However, I did
not want her to suffer. We loved her more then to see that
happen. August 15, 2007 the vet told us there was no hope.
Jasmine's kidneys were gone. Unlike humans the vet explained
there were know kidney transplants for animals as there were for
humans. When there little body parts wore out it was time to let
go.That day she left us to go to rainbow bridge. I remember the
vet telling me to take my time and stay with her as long as I
wanted. I kissed her told her how happy she had made us and how
much we loved her.
Jasmine we miss you and thank you for being such a loyal
pet. Now you are with Hemi and you both can run and play as you
did before. (Hemi was our little dog we lost July 15, 2007) I
know now you are at peace and you have no pain. Rest easy my
friend we will meet again.
Your loving family,
Mary, Brandon, Randall

Your tears fall Your heart aches Your baby has gone away Gone to
heaven to play The memories remain Of the happy days A meow and a
purr As you feel the soft fur You gave your love No more could you
do A short life of joy For your baby and you Off to heaven your
angel has gone but within your heart the love will live on Standing in
sorrow and in your mind's eye look into heaven and please do not
cry For there in the Rainbow garden Stands God and in his arms An angel
softly purring It's your baby, safe from harm I love you Kitty Jazz!
