Kenya
Kenya was a sweet girl. She lived for 7 years in Minnesota with our Brother and his family and then came to California to live with us. I'll never forget picking her up from the Airport. She got out of her crate and came trotting right over to us.
She went everywhere we did. She was my honorary maid of honor and came along on our Honeymoon, riding around and camping in Northern California. From Shasta to Santa Cruz, she was always there.
She went by many names (Kunta, Woofar, Bean Dip are just a few) and before she lost her hearing, would always perk up when Phil whistled. When we lived in Vallejo, she would sit on the top of the couch and watch for us to come home.
For only being 15 lbs. her heart and spirit were bigger than I can put into words. We miss her so much.
"Perhaps they are not stars, but rather openings in heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy." - Eskimo Proverb
