MAX

Max was bought as a gift for my youngest daughter, who wanted a pet of her own. He did not turn out to be her pet, he chose me.

He was a Rat Terrier. He had the look of a Minature Pinscer; and the personality to match.

He would not allow anyone to show me affection without showing them he was the boss.

He was very intelligent adn not only knew the standard commands (sit, stay, shake, etc) but also understood "Go to bed." "lay down." and "Uh-Uh!"

We learned that he had a mast cell turmor on his left upper lip in late September of 2007 and by November 11th we had to have him put to sleep.

I could not stand to see him suffer. It was quick. He became ill on Friday and we took him to put him to sleep on Sunday morning, early. It was the hardest thing I have ever had to do, but I loved him far too much to allow him to be in pain.

I miss him terribly and probably always will, but he brought me amny years of joy and companionship.

Good bye, Max.

Sometimes due to veterinarian bills or financial hardship, pet owners suffering from pet loss are unable or unwilling to pay for pet memorials.
It is very difficult for us at Immortal Pets to delete memorials especially one such as this.  We try to sponsor some of them temporarily while funds allow until the pet owner is able to contribute to the pet memorial or in some cases kind hearted pet owners make donations to help us keep pet memorials online.

If you wish to donate a small amount to help keep this memorial or other pet memorials alive please contact us at sponsormemorial@immortalpets.com

We would also like to express a special thank you to all our private sponsors along with www.ImmortalLovedOnes.com a memorial site for humans for who is also a sponsor of www.immortalPets.com

We would also like to use this space to encourage pet lovers to continue to support your local ASPCA.  By reading these pet memorials you will find a great many of these wonderful animals were adopted from the ASPCA or other shelters.  Please help us continue to support the animal shelters.
