Peyote although Skyla did not afford me the opportunity to pet you and know you were a loving dog because it reflected from your family. You will be missed. Say hello to Skyla when you enter the Rainbow Bridge and remember to tell her how much she was loved as much as you.....

I nearly started to cry going into Sweeney's without you and getting your favorite treat "Twizzlers". When we meet again I'm bringing all that I can carry for you. Miss you something wicked son. Adding pictures o your album brought back some great times and of course I started to cry again. Until we meet again baby.

Not a day goes by that I don't think about the good times and the way your eyes rolled back when I scratched you ears. Some days are worse than others especially when I pass your ashes and give then a kiss to start each day. My heart aches for your companionship and protection. I know in my heart that you are watching over us each day. We love you and miss you very much. Untill we meet again baby boy.

I had a beautiful pit bull, named Pete. He was a black and white. I had him from age 8 wks until nearly his 14th year. He was the absolute best dog there ever was as far as I am concerned. I was touched by your memorial and it brought back in me all the love and all the time with my darling Pete. Hold strong to your memories. Kris

Even though we rescued another pit from a terrible fate, he's so different from you. I miss my laid back yote to just relax with, walk with, lay with and swim buddy. Sometimes I find myself calling your name instead of the other dogs but I don't get sad because it's just that you are always on my mind. Everytime I hear this song though I cry thinking of you. This song has taken on a whole new meaning for me since you've passed and I miss you something awful. If I didn't cry at the thought of you leaving us then you wouldn't have meant as much as you did. Keep that piece of my heart safe until we meet again my baby.

Merry Christmas my baby boy. This is the first Christmas without you but your stocking is up and always will be. Last night I kept dreaming you were in Layne's crib just laying down watching us sleep. I miss you son and hope you are at peace. I hope you are watching over me, daddy and the kids as you did when you were here. I love you. Till we meet again.

It's been a while since I've written but it just takes a lot out of me to see how much you are missed. Your pictures are all over the house and our hearts still ache. I miss you sooooo much it hurts. Tibby and Nakoma are not the same since you've left us and neither am I. I hope you hear me when I talk to you, see me when I cry for you, help me get through another day. Well buddy, it's been 2 long years since you've passed and it still hurts like yesterday. I miss you so much. I know daddy misses you terribly also. We will keep up with the rescue dogs in your honor but they will never replace your wonderful spirit. Happy Birthday in heaven baby boy. I LOVE YOU!
