Sadie May
My Precious Sadie
She was the perfect pet, So sweet and loving!
Her story begins on very early morning in Texas. As my daughter and I were delievering newspapers about 5 am we came across a black dog wondering alone in the cold. Sierra yelled out " is that a great dane?" So i stopped the car and Sierra called out for the dog. It came straight to us and hopped right in the back seat. The dog was so happy to see someone and grateful to have some warmth. From there we continued our route with a huge dog in the backseat. About 10 minutes later after looking at her I called her Sadie! She just looked like a Sadie. She was missing alot of hair on her back end and legs she was fairly skinny but still so beautiful! But you could tell she was partly old. But I was still gonna love her no matter what. Sadie was a blessing that morning. Later that day we took her in to be bathed and pampered. She really came out looking like a differant doggy. So Pretty and shiny! Even with a bandana around her neck.
Ever since that early morning Sadie has been in our lives and brought a magical blessing and wonderful joy to our lives! She took up half the couch and most of the bed. It was so nice having her sleep with me at night since my husband is deployed. She didnt like it much when he came home for 2 weeks tho since there wasnt enough room for us 2 and her so she had to settle for the couch. But she did manage to slip in the room and on the bed a few times leaving us the edge. :)
Sadie was always excited to go in the truck. She knew when momma was gonna be leaving and she would follow me around the house until we went out the door. She loved going out to the walking trails or even just to the store or even just the neighborhood. She just loved to go walking no matter where it was.
She was the only dog until my daughter got her dog Ese. All Sadie wanted to do was play but she would knock Ese clear across the room with one pat of her paw. It was so cute! Then for 2 weeks her buddy Nakota came for a visit and all she wanted to do was love and kiss on him. Nakota didnt like it much but Sadie didnt care, she was giving lovin's away no matter what! They were the best of friends.
Sadie was so loving , calm, affectionate, sweet, just PERFECT! I could never ask for a better dog. I miss everything about her. I miss her greeting me at the door when I come in, I miss laying on the couch with her, I miss her silly lil look she would give me when she wanted to go outside, and if i didnt pay attention to her or give her something she wanted she would talk to me, perk her ears up and bounce and bark a bubbling bark. it was the cutest thing. Not having her here is really hard on me.
