Scooter

We had Scooter since she was just a tiny kitten.  She was always very energetic and loving.  She played catch with us.  She would bring us one of her cat balls and drop it at our feet and meow.  We would throw it and she would run after it and bring it back to us and want to continue playing.  She would do that for so long, until she got bored and saw something better she wanted to do, or when it was time to take a nap.

Scooter would sit on the floor and stare up at my husband without blinking and just purr and purr and salivate!  She loved him so much!  He would be laying on his stomach on the couch or bed and she would get on his back and just lay there for hours.  He could even get up and walk, bent over, with her remaining on his back.

We have so many beautiful pictures of her.  I'm so glad we have our memories.  It's hard to believe she's gone.  I really hope God does give us the desires of our heart and that we have her in heaven with us.

Thanks, Scooter, for all the wonderful years.  You will be greatly missed by Casey, your loving companion of 15 years, and dad, mom, Jordan & Evan.

Sometimes due to veterinarian bills or financial hardship, pet owners suffering from pet loss are unable or unwilling to pay for pet memorials.
It is very difficult for us at Immortal Pets to delete memorials especially one such as this.  We try to sponsor some of them temporarily while funds allow until the pet owner is able to contribute to the pet memorial or in some cases kind hearted pet owners make donations to help us keep pet memorials online.

I'm still missing you every day, Scooter. Tears come so easily to my eyes at the quickest thought of you. I've called out to you using one of the many nicknames I used to use for you, only to remember suddenly that you're no longer here to hear me. I'm glad you're not in pain any more. Now it's only my heart that has the pain.

Scooter, just the other night Evan was going to sleep, singing about you and how he misses you and loves you. He started crying and crying. We all do.

Casey still seems to search for you and he is much more vocal, as if to be asking us where you are. I still tear up at the thought of you. How precious you were to us. And the memories we have of you are still precious.

We got out the Christmas tree yesterday and that also reminded me of you, the way you would "help" us w/ the tree and sit under it for hours. We are definitely still missing you in our lives and we still talk of you and how much we miss you.

One year ago today you left us. My heart was heavy all day and I thought about you and shed a few tears. You are still soooo missed. Casey still misses you too. You both were so sweet together for 15 yrs.

Every time Dad makes popcorn I think of you, a snack you and he shared so often.
