Skyla was my niece a special pet, sweet, loving funny, I remember one day we were all watching TV and she was laying on my sister Liz and my sister wanted to get up from the sofa and she crad her humping on her something all dogs do IS Natrual, my sister kitty said to Skyla no humpmig, I burst out laughing it was so funny...Skyla I will miss you so, You will always have a specail part in my heart...Love Titi Nancy....

~DEATH~
WHAT A WONDERFUL WAY TO EXPLAIN IT..
A sick man turned to his doctor as he was preparing to
Leave the examination room and said,
'Doctor, I am afraid to die.
Tell me what lies on the other side.'
Very quietly, the doctor said, 'I don't know.'
'You don't know? You, a Christian man,
Do not know what is on the other side?'
The doctor was holding the handle of the door;
On the other side came a sound of scratching and whining,
And as he opened the door, a dog sprang into the room
And leaped on him with an eager show of gladness.
Turning to the patient, the doctor said,
'Did you notice my dog?
He's never been in this room before.
He didn't know what was inside.
He knew nothing except that his master was here,
And when the door opened, he sprang in without fear.
I know little of what is on the other side of death,
But I do know one thing..
I know my Master is there and that is enough.'

To my babybaby Skyla.
Oh how i long to hold you one more time. to wish to tell you that i loved every lil thing, every antic and every expression you every gave me. for i will remember them always my babybaby. your wet nose on my skin, your sasching of you body as you went down the stairs. what a gurly girl you were! almost human. but what i will miss most my Skyla, is your faithfulness, your loyality, your unconditional love. your way of lookin' at me to let me know all is ok. the world is right, if for nothing, that very moment you looked into my eyes. i miss you dearly already Skyla and you will always be in my heart and soul forever.
Stay sweet in heaven my babybaby til the day we met again and i'll call to you and you'll run to me to do it all over again. May the lord keep you at his side cause he made and stilled in you, what it means to love UNCONDITIONALLY, without saying a word, but in deed.

Rainbow Bridge
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Kitty,
It is so hard to see you go through this. I had a doubt in my mind in the past, could it be real for someone to grief over a pet not realizing that it becomes a part of you as a family member. But as I saw the pain in your eyes when you told us about Skylar made me open up more to how a pet is loved and cherished and is actually taken care as we do our children and family. My heart goes out to you and Jerry and I hope the lord will give you the strength to remember Skylar as being free of pain and agony. She is now in a better place and will be watching over you. Also, wanted to let you know that how you expressed yourself of your child, Skylar is wonders and beautiful. He is now in the kingdom of peace. God Bless.

Sweet Skyla joyfull and full of life, I rememeber our first encounter at a Bible study, the gifts of the Holy Spirit. You welcomed me into your home with love and care and you stayed beside me to ensure my safety and comfort. A love like yours only comes from the Master and Creator of the Heavens and the Earth. You will forever be remembered as the Beautiful Sklya full of life and vibrant zest. Your presence allowed me to rest assured knowing that without any doubt you were truly a gift from God Heaven sent. You will forever be remembered in my heart and I too will miss you.
Today we celebrate your life and thank you for loving and caring for Jerry & Kitty unconditionally as you were created to do.

May you find comfort in the love you shared with Skyla. Remember that you were as much a blessing to her as she was to you. Remember the happy, fun times with her and it will help to ease the pain a bit. My Daisy, who I lost in August, is helping to take care of her and show her around in the beautiful place she is now.

Skyla, How I miss our scratch sessions every morning. Your eyes said it all when I scratched your neck and your paw would thump over and over. Your expressions spoke louder than words and you will forever be in my heart. From day one you were such a sweet girl and appreciated everything. Loyal, sweet and a heart of gold I will miss you like you were my own. One day I'll see you again and a scratch session we will have like never before!!! I miss and love you always.

So sorry for your loss of Skyla, but it's really not a loss...you were lucky enough to have her for so many years! If a dog is not a member of the family, you probably shouldn't have that priviledge.

Good morning precious daughter, I just found a stain on the bathroom carpet with your scent on it, as I took a snife of it, my eyes began to tear knowing that it was only a stain you had left behind for me to see this very day. Thank you Lord for all those wonderful signs of Skyla so that I can remember that she was here. I know that all these signs are only to help me get stronger and stronger each day. Skyla I miss you so much!!!!! You were truly the most amazing dog I have ever met and the your parents are just as amazing. Im gonna miss giving you treats while you cut everyone in line lol ....but you will live on forever in our hearts and the memory alone is enough to keep you alive. We are sorry for the loss of your Beautiful Skyla.We know your pain and suffering.I must share with you what my daughter told me when the er doctor declared our Caliya's heart had stopped. She said, "Mom Caliya's not suffering anymore, we are." Your Beautiful Skyla is free of pain now.We thank you for the poem. I want you to that my dogs name is Muttface and he was very loyal and loving. He always sensed when something was wrong and would always lay his head on my lap with those beautiful big brown eyes. Even to this day I miss his love but I know that he will run into my arms again. So be comforted in knowing that Skyla will be seen again and loved by your family. It is now two weeks since we sent you off to heaven. This Saturday, April 12, we picked up your ashes and even then I can't believe you are not alive but on the otherside probably playing with OJ or my sister and all the other dogs that left this earth. I love you and miss you so much Skyla. Now I understand the tears in my eyes, there are not from your lost but from the love that you gave tome when we were together.
