Spanky was born on Oct 22, 1991 well this is the day we think he could of been born on. We adopted him from Popcorn Park Zoo, which is part of the Humane Society. We went to visit the zoo and came home with our best friend. He was black and white and part beagle part corgi. My life changed the day i brought him home. He gave us so much love !!
When we had our first son, Spanky became his protector, he loved Dylan so. We took them both to have there picture taken together. Spanky stood so proud next to his brother. When our second son came along, he watched over them both. To my boys Spanky was a brother and they loved him so.
Last year 2006, my wonderful mother died. I thought my life was over and then the wprst thing happened, Spanky was diagnosed 1 month later with CHF , the same thing my mom had. Two months after losing my mom, Spanky lost his fight also. I thougt i would die. My best friends gone.
As long as I live I will never forget my wonderful loving friend Spanky. He will always be my first son.
Thank You Spanky for teaching me what unconditional love and friendship is all about. Thank You Mom for givning me my love of animals, I learned it all from you.
