Toby Lee Bales

In March, 1991, Toby came in to my life and he was a little bundle of joy.  He always made people smile and was very welcoming to all.  He lived through 3 houses and one apartment with me; welcomed the new man in my life and was happy when we married.  He survived three kids that came into our family, Jared (now 11), Emily (now 8 1/2) and AJ (now 2 1/2), all who miss him dearly.  He had a "sister" dog named Casey until 2001, and at the time of his death he had a "sister" cat, Sox, and a brother dog "Duke" who now miss him very much.  He was always a playful pup until the last five years when his age began to get the best of him.  He primarily enjoyed sleeping those last years but was still a very happy dog during this time and enjoyed attention from the family and any guests who came by.  Especially since Duke came into his life in January of this year, he still had to make sure he got his fair share.  Unfortunately, sometime within the last year, Toby's age began working against him and his arthritis and loss of weight made him become somewhat feeble and we knew his time would come.  On July 11, 2006, 10:40 a.m. Toby was put to sleep to end his suffering times.  WE WILL MISS HIM!
