Rainbow Bridge

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

	Troop, you were truly one of a kind...no one was more loyal than you when someone didn't feel good. I can remember being very sick and you would never leave my side, always there to give comfort. We will all miss you so very much but know that you are resting well. We shall meet again one day. Uncle Dennis

	hey pooper! i miss you so much! i was laying in bed last night and my side felt empty where you usually lay and i couldnt help but to cry. i have a big whole in my heart right now because i loved you so much. i cant wait to see you one day in heaven. you are the most loving and loyal puppy ever. i miss you!!!

	Trooper, It is so hard to believe that you are gone. You meant so much to all of us. Did you even know that you brought so much joy to everyone? There hasn't been a day go by that I haven't thought of you often. I know that you didn't live with me for very long, but our time together was very special to me. Thank you for being you.

	Trooper, It has been two weeks now since you left my life and I can't express how lonely I feel without you. Sometimes I feel I can't make it without you in my life because you gave such joy to me. 	Trooper, It has been three weeks now and I miss you so very much. You were so special and brought so much joy to me. 	Troop, I visited your page again today to add a picture of your grave site. I really miss you, boy. Sometimes when I look at Raider, I can see you there. I know that time will make your passing easier, but please know that I will never, ever forget you. I love you!!
