Waggles came to us when I was pregnant with my child in 1992. She was actually to be the companion for another dog we had at the time to avoid jealousy with the new baby. She was about to be taken with the rest of her litter to the pound when a friend heard I was looking for a puppy. At first sight, we fell in love with her. She was the smallest of the litter sitting in a corner of the box all by herself shaking. I knew instantly that she was the one I wanted. She shook on my lap the whole ride home that day.
Throughout her life, she was the most loyal and loving 'child'. I call her a child because she was very much a part of my family and it was one of the most painful days of our lives to lose our baby girl. She saw many pets come and go and she remained the ruler of the roost. She was a gentle loving soul who is missed dearly every passing day.
This memorial is currently being sponsored by a Private Sponsor.
Sometimes due to veterinarian bills or financial hardship, pet owners suffering from pet loss are unable or unwilling to pay for pet memorials.
It is very difficult for us at Immortal Pets to delete memorials especially one such as this. We try to sponsor some of them temporarily while funds allow until the pet owner is able to contribute to the pet memorial or in some cases kind hearted pet owners make donations to help us keep pet memorials online.
We would also like to use this space to encourage pet lovers to continue to support your local ASPCA. By reading these pet memorials you will find a great many of these wonderful animals were adopted from the ASPCA or other shelters. Please help us continue to support the animal shelters.
