Frodo Barnett

"Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.

I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glint on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain."

Frodo's family did not know him as a pup, but often wished they had. Frodo was a very mature dog, who prefered spending quiet time indoors with his family. He loved helping his mom around the house, cleaning up her messes when she was cooking and keeping her company. He was her full time companion and friend who very rarely left her side.

Frodo loved to relax on the front porch and share breakfast with his mom in the mornings. He was so good on his leash and enjoyed walks so much his mom tried to take him everyday or every other day. She wouldn't trade those long relaxing walks with her precious boy for anything in the world, enjoying the pleasant weather together and having fun.

Frodo had a very courgeous spirit and always made his family feel safe even though he was a small boy. He slept with his mom or his grandma every night, and was an excellent sleeping buddy. He loved clean sheets and blankets, especially when they just came out of the dryer. He was a very tidy boy and never made messes.

Frodo possessed a very cheerful and happy spirit that his family misses everyday. He was truely one of a kind. During the the time that he was with his family, he helped them through many hardships.

Frodo died suddenly and tragically. He died at a young age and still had many happy years ahead of him. His family has accepted their loss but will mourn forever that their time was cut so short. They know he can never be replaced but hope that one day Frodo will send them another friend that they can love just as much.

Frodo is buried close to his family and has a beautiful gravemarker. His spirit will live on forever.

To all pets who have passed on, rest in peace. And to the families left behind, hang in there, you'll meet again.
