Zephie has gone on her journey to make new friends and have everlasting peace. She carries with her, family and friends here on this earth in her heart forever; as she will always and forever be in ours.
Zeph was called many names through her life. Such as; "good girl", "you're so pretty", Zephaniah, Zephie, and "stinky girl ".
Zephie loved playing with her stuffed "dollie", taking walks,and seeing her canine friends along the way, barking to let us know someone is at the door (to see her of course!) , having a "tummy" rub, giving big, wet, kisses, and eating raw carrotts.
We will remember her for being so smart, and sometimes stubborn. Wanting to be friends with every cat she met. Trying to bite the mail carrier ( on numerous occassions ), sneaking her way into Jeremy's room, warming his bed and waiting for him to come home, scratching the floor for 10 min. before finding just the right spot , sneezing on people she loved, running up the hill to grampa's house to catch a ride home, eating her cousins Christmas turkey neck bones, loving to go for car rides, and fiercely barking at the person at the drive thru window, and wanting to hold on so tight to you during scary thunderstorms.
These memories will sustain us until we are with Zephie again . We love her so much and are heart broken that she is no longer here, beside us. But ,we have the serenity of knowing that she is well, safe, and happy where she is now.
Thank you to all of you that helped with the care of Zephie in the past few yrs. We are so very gratful!
So, here is a toast to you Zephie, Thank you for the true Joy that you brought to our lives. And........ "We hope you had the time of your life. "
